LEE PUAY CHIN, CHARLES, DIRECTOR

Charles holds a BSc in Hospitality Management awarded by University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is an individual who has a vast experience in working both in and outside of Singapore such as USA and China where he held senior positions like manager, general manager, director for Holiday Inn Riverside (China) and for Straits Cafe, Palo Alto (USA) and even the Vice-President of Sinolion Capital Group Pte Ltd. With his vast experience, he has been appointed by Spatec Academy as a Member of the Examination Board as well as the Chairman of the Academic Board.

CALVIN CHOO, PRINCIPAL & MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE

Calvin is a very proactive person, and has held management positions in various industries, before embarking into the private education industry. 

He has many years of experience in mentoring and tutoring the youth. Calvin is very passionate about imparting knowledge and skills to others and hence join the private education industry.

Currently as the Principal, he is involved in running the operations of Spatec Academy. He is also the Management Representative of Spatec Academy.

Calvin graduated from London School of Economics, University of London; with a major in Banking and Finance (Hons).

Dr. SHU WEN WHU, MEMBER OF ADVISORY BOARD

Graduated from National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan), awarded the Ph.D. Degree of Chemical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan).

Graduated from National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan), awarded the Master Degree of Chemistry, National Chung Hsing University (Taiwan).

Graduated from Fong Chia University (Taiwan), awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Chemical Engineering. Dr. Whu worked as Research Assistant in Department of Chemical Engineering in National Tsing Hua University, under the direction of Prof. Hsiue (Taiwan).

Dr. Whu worked as Research Assistant in Department of Orthopaedic in National Taiwan University Hospital, under the direction of Prof. Tsai (Taiwan). Dr. Whu worked as Research Fellow in Department of Biomaterial Medical in Cleveland Clinic Foundation, under the direction of Dr. Harasaki (USA). Dr. Whu experienced in Biomaterials and Artificial Cartilage in Tissue Engineering for more than twelve years. Currently, Dr. Whu is the Research Fellow of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Keelung and working as Adjunct Assistant Professor at National Chin-Yi University of Technology (Department of Chemical and Material Engineering) and Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology.

Dr. Whu is membership of Biomedical Engineering Society of the R.O.C and Chemical Engineering Society of Fong Chia University.

Dr. Chen was awarded Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students (Presented by the Ministry of Education, Japan), and awarded Scholarship for international students, presented by the Nakajima Foundation (Japan )

DR. YU CHI CHEN, MEMBER OF ADVISORY BOARD

Graduated from University of Shizuoka (Japan), awarded the Ph.D. Degree of Food and Nutritional Sciences, University of Shizuoka (Japan).

Graduated from Da-Yeh University, awarded the Degree of Bachelor of Food Engineering.

Dr. Chen worked as Chemosynthesis Engineer in Department of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients, Everlight Chemical Industrial Corporation in Taiwan.

Dr. Chen worked as Teaching Assistant, Laboratory of applied microbiology, University of Shizuoka, under the direction of Prof. A. Hirota (Japan). Dr. Chen also experienced in Postdoctoral Research in Division of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Research, National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan.

Currently, Dr.Chen is Vice-Chairman of the Department of Cosmetic Science and working as Assistant Professor at Vanung University (Department of Cosmetic Science)

Dr. Chen is membership of Japan Society for Bioscience, Biotechnology, and Agrochemistry.

(GC-, LC-, MS-MS); Operating, interpretation of the IR spectra; Ames test; Antioxidase assay (Mushroom Tyrosinase, Soybean Lipoxygenase); Antioxidant assay; Operating, the bioreactor; Cell culture; Antibacterial assay.
